![]() ![]() The first day was a poor person, the second day an orphan, and the third day a captive. During each day of their fast, they were met by a stranger who came to their door asking for food. They advised Ali and Fatimah to make a vow to Allah (سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ) to fast three days and so they did while supplicating daily asking for their children’s recovery. Ali’s two sons had fallen ill and the Prophet (ﷺ) and a group come to visit them. Specifically of Ali Ibn Abi Talib, and the Prophet’s daughter Fatimah and their two kids Hasan and Hussein. It outlines the benefits and rewards of those with good character and traits will be rewarded in paradise.Īccording to some traditions it is believed that verses 5-22 revelation discuss “the righteous” which is actually a story about the family of the Prophet (ﷺ). The background of this Surah discusses matters about physical and spiritual growth a person can attain. “Indeed, We guided him to the way, be he grateful or be he ungrateful.” ![]()
